I first felt the Lord stirring my heart toward camping ministry while I was serving as a youth pastor in the Rocky Mountain Nazarene District, ministering in the wide-open spaces of eastern Montana. Though the vision was clear, it would be eleven years before God opened the door for me to step into that calling. In 2007, that door opened at Bonita Park Camp and Conference Center, where I transitioned into full-time camp ministry. I served both as Assistant Director and Operations Director. Camping ministry became a family mission when my wife and children joined me.

In 2009, my family and I volunteered together at the West Texas Nazarene District Camp. Since then, we’ve continued to serve side by side in this ministry. I also had the privilege of playing key leadership roles in the Arizona Nazarene District Camp—as Operations Director, Assistant Director, and later Interim Director during a critical season.

In 2017, God led my wife and me to Camp Maranatha Alaska, calling me to serve as Executive Director. Over the past eight years, we’ve seen God’s hand move in powerful ways, blessing the ministry and deepening our sense of calling. Through every season, my passion has remained the same: to create sacred spaces where lives are transformed, faith is ignited, and hearts are drawn closer to Jesus.
