We can accommodate up to 225 guests in cabins and 32 guests in the hotel in all four seasons—summer, fall, winter, and spring.

Camp Maranatha is just over an hour north of Anchorage, offering both convenient access and a peaceful retreat into nature.

By Car:

Located at 19780 Camp Drive, Big Lake, Alaska.

  1. Parks Highway north to Big Lake Turnoff

  2. Left on Big Lake Road (drive approx. 3 miles)

  3. Right on Beaver Lake Road (drive approx. 1 mile)

  4. Left on West Lakes Blvd (drive approx. 3.5 miles)

  5. Right on 2nd Horseshoe Lake Road (drive approx. 2 miles)

  6. Left at Camp Lane (1/4 mile)

By Air:

  • 68 miles (approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes) from Anchorage International Airport.

  • 16 miles (approx. 30 minutes) from Wasilla Airport, which accommodates private planes.

  • Floatplane Access: Hourglass Lake is large enough to accommodate small float planes with space for temporary docking for loading/unloading, making fly-in access both easy and scenic.

Transportation from either airport can be arranged if needed. Bus rentals available.
